1000Blankets is an advocacy and service-based nonprofit, co-founded by Zubin Mehta and Zane Mehta to help homeless individuals and their families. Our mission is to serve the homeless with the gift of  warmth – a blanket. Whether it’s the domestic homeless plight, the countless hurricanes, or the recent wildfires, our blankets have provided warmth and comfort for those displaced from their homes. Our goal is to be the most effective provider of compassionate care  for those hurting with homelessness. Our Mission is to provide a sense of security, warmth and comfort to individuals and children who have been traumatized by homelessness.
